Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Host UK services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Services. Simple as that. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, free tier users, and paying customers.

Who Can Use Our Services

Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. If you're under 18, you need parental consent.

Account Responsibility

You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your password secure. If someone gains access to your account, that's on you unless we messed up.

One Account Per Person

Unless you're on a team/agency plan, one account per person. Creating multiple free accounts to circumvent limits will result in account termination.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
Harass, threaten, or harm others
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
Use our Services to attack other websites or networks
Resell access to our Services without permission
Create content involving minors inappropriately
Promote illegal activities or violence

Adult Content Policy

We don't have payment processors dictating what legal content you can host. However:

What's Allowed

Legal adult content between consenting adults, properly age-gated. We support creators in legal adult industries without arbitrary deplatforming.

What's Never Allowed

CSAM (child sexual abuse material), non-consensual content, bestiality, or anything depicting minors. Zero tolerance. We report to authorities immediately.

Age Verification

If you host adult content, you must implement appropriate age verification. This is your legal responsibility.

Your Content

Ownership

You retain all rights to content you create and upload. We don't claim ownership of your bio pages, posts, links, or any other content.

License to Us

By using our Services, you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Services. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Your Responsibility

You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. Don't upload copyrighted material you don't own or have permission to use.

Payment Terms

Free Tier

The free tier is free forever. We won't suddenly start charging or remove features you were using.

Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. After that, no refunds for partial months, but you can cancel anytime.

Price Changes

We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions continue at the old price until renewal.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we'll try again and notify you. After multiple failures, your account may be downgraded to the free tier.

Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee it. The internet is complex, hardware fails, and sometimes things break despite our best efforts. We'll communicate outages honestly and fix them quickly. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Intellectual Property

The Host UK name, logo (including the Raven), and all Service-related branding are our trademarks. Our platform code, design, and documentation are protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our Services without permission.

Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party platforms (social networks, payment processors, etc.). Your use of those platforms is governed by their terms, not ours. We're not responsible for what they do with your data once it leaves our systems.

Termination

By You

You can cancel your account anytime from your dashboard. Your data remains available until the end of your billing period, then reverts to free tier or is deleted per your preference.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, don't pay, or engage in illegal activity. For minor violations, we'll warn you first. For serious violations (illegal content, abuse), termination may be immediate.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. We may delete your data after a reasonable period unless legally required to retain it.

Disclaimers

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected immediately
The Services will meet all your requirements
Your content will never be lost (please keep backups)

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Host UK is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. This isn't us being evil—it's standard practice that lets us offer affordable services.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Host UK from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms. Basically: if you break the law using our platform, that's on you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. For EU users, this doesn't affect your consumer rights under local law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Significant changes will be announced via email and/or website notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
